Big Tim was a favourite subject. He was the king of Amboseli, and had the biggest set of tusks on any elephant.
He had been playing in the mud and draped his trunk across his eyes, it looks a bit like a mask. He was magnificent elephant, and needed to be seen to be believed.
Unfortunately, he passed of natural caused in February 2020.
